Havana Syndrome victims

Hi, my name is Deborah, and I'm a former FBI Agent. I'm a single parent with an eight-year-old daughter. My daughter and I have been experiencing AHIs, otherwise known as anomalous health incidents, for some time now. We've now been diagnosed with Havana Syndrome. But, this diagnosis took some time. We've been to our primary care doctors, Urgent Care, and made Emergency Room visits for various ailments. We've seen ENTs, Neurologists, a Cardiologist, an Osteopath, Integrative Medicine Specialists, and Naturopaths, all within the last year for help with diagnosis and potential treatments. We have upcoming appointments with an Environmental Medicine Specialist and Physical Therapists. Over the summer, we will see a Clinical Neuropsychologist for brain mapping and executive cognitive functioning tests. As we've been passed around from doctor to doctor, we've had to wait months at times in between appointments and more recently, between the two of us, we may have 2-5 doctor appointments per week. It has been an increasingly demanding and debilitating struggle.
We aren't alone in our struggles to discover and expose the truth about our ailments and their ties to those now acknowledged as Havana Syndrome victims. I've reached out to local law enforcement, my former employer and other intelligence agencies, the State Department, an attorney, my congresswoman, electronics specialists, the California Victim's Compensation Board, and other human rights organizations advocating for victims like myself and so many others to be heard. From our experience as a victim of this horrendous crime, we've discovered that current and former government intelligence agency employees are not alone in their attacks. These symptoms are not psychosomatic, and they're real and devastating and affect all aspects of victims' lives.
I'm reaching out for assistance because many of these diagnostic tests, procedures and treatments are not covered by insurance. Havana syndrome is not well known, and, to a great degree, the right diagnostic tools to diagnose and treat it are still being researched. The best detection and protection methods are also unknown and extensively investigated by various organizations, including government agencies.
So, please donate for several reasons. Please donate to help us with our medical bills, tests, and treatments. Please donate to afford me the time to do more research and advocate for others and the laws needed to help us. Please donate to assist with detection and protection methods. Please donate to help me work on an existing medical app that, with the correct symptom entries, will allow victims to track their symptoms and collectively report them to the appropriate authorities. Please donate so that I can join forces with other human rights advocates and organizations around the world. And please donate so that I can give a percentage of my donations to human rights organizations. In particular, a couple of them have been instrumental in providing the emotional support needed at the most critical times and the knowledge required to educate me and all of the doctors we've seen about the Havana Syndrome and its symptoms.
It may be a long struggle, but I hope to update you with our progress in wellness and my latest research and advocacy efforts each week. I hope you may become more knowledgeable about this syndrome and those suffering from similar symptomology. Thank you so much for your vital and continued support, and we are eternally grateful.
And, I'm sorry to all of you who didn't get our usual holiday greetings this year, because the holidays were, unfortunately, a significant struggle this year with prolonged illness. You were all in our thoughts and loved as always.
