Please contribute anything you can to help my loved ones rebuild their lives and homes following their loss from the Woolsey Fire. Below you will find a description of my family members that have lost their homes and need your support:
George and Margaret Hauptman
My parents. Margaret Hauptman has been a realtor in the city of Malibu for nearly 30 years. She has helped hundreds of families find their ideal home in our beautiful city. She documents the sunrises off of Little Dume every single morning and shares her photos with everyone in the community. My mother is the most kind, generous, and hardworking woman in existence. My father, George Hauptman, has been a finish carpenter in the City of Malibu for over 30 years. He has helped hundreds of Malibu residents re-build their homes after fires, coached various baseball teams, worked on a suicide prevention hotline, and spends every morning being active near the ocean. We lost the home that my father built up Trancas Canyon. My parents met at the Zuma Beach Food Shack at the ages of 16 and 18. They will be celebrating 50 years of marriage this year.

Dennis Duran
My uncle. Uncle Dennis has lived up Trancas Canyon for about 30 years. He and my father worked side by side as finish carpenters for decades helping residents of Malibu build and rebuild their homes. Dennis will be continuing his work as a carpenter for families rebuilding their homes following the Woolsey Fire. Uncle Dennis has a heart of gold and needs your support after losing his home.

George Jr. Hauptman and Julie Weisel
My brother and sister in law. George grew up in Malibu before Malibu High School even existed. George spent years as Art Director of the Malibu Surfside News. George and Julie met while working off of Heathercliff at the Robb Report. They lost their home up Kanan Road at the Seminole Springs Mobile Home Park in the Santa Monica Mountains.
