Hi everyone. I am setting up this fundraiser for my sister Cheryl, her husband Brandon and their daughter Kaitlyn (6 yrs.). On the morning of Friday, 6/25/21, they were woken up to a fire that had engulfed their whole garage and then spread to the rest of the house.

They have lost everything that they had in the fire including their home, all their belongings and all their non-valuable keepsakes that they worked so hard for over the last 16 years together. Everything was either burned/melted or has smoke/water/debris damage that probably cannot be salvageable.

We are reaching out to our family, friends and the community to help support them through this extremely difficult time. The family needs help with the expenses associated with recovering from the fire and finding a new place to live. We, as a family, are seeking help on their behalf for covering the deductible for their home owners' insurance, the cost of a temporary housing, money toward a deposit on a new place to live, clothing, basic essentials and items for everyday living.

The family is also looking for any recommendation for a 3 bedroom rental to live in until they can rebuild, which could take up to 2 years if not longer. Preferably in Niagara County or the north towns with a yard for Kaitlyn.

You never know how much you have until it’s gone. We are so blessed knowing that everyone got out safe and for the outpouring of support that my family has received so far! Thank you everyone from the bottom of our hearts.
