Hattan Family Fundraiser

Please consider donating to help the Hattan family during this tragic time.

The day before Thanksgiving, Dennis Hattan was brought to the hospital due to respiratory issues later found to be COVID pneumonia. Dennis ended up being admitted and was put on a ventilator for 10 days. Several weeks later, Dennis, who is the fire chief in Washburn Il, is currently still recovering in the hospital and has a long journey ahead.

On December 16, Joy Beattie-Hattan was involved in a tragic car accident, losing her life. She leaves behind her husband Dennis, her children Evan, Linnea, and Matthew and her step-son Joe.

Joy worked at Ajinomoto Windsor, was a vital part of the community and loved to help organize events for the fire department and the town as a whole. Joy had such a big heart and was always willing to help those she loved.

This is an unimaginable loss for her family and friends and they deserve all the help they can get. No donation is too small.

You may choose to also make a donation at any Morton Community Bank in their name. Please make any checks out to Evan Johnson.

Thank you.
