A dear friend of ours, Christy Crow, was recently diagnosed with stage 4 Invasive ductal carcinoma (IDC), which is a type of breast cancer, also known as infiltrating ductal carcinoma. It starts in the milk ducts of the breast and moves into nearby tissue. In time, IDC may spread (metastasize) through the lymph nodes or bloodstream to other areas of the body.
Not only did the Dr's tell her she has stage 4 breast cancer, but that she apparently has had it for 6.5 yrs now, being told in the past it was just fatty fibroid tissue. So far as we can tell it has focused on the breast. Not in lymph, but in blood.
Plans of action are...... double mastectomy, chemo and radiation which means no money coming in and lots of medical bills. She also has to have a full body work up to check all organs and bones for cancer.
She is a daughter, a sister,a mother and a friend. Any donation will be greatly appreciated. If you're not comfortable with donating money, she also has a wish list listed below
