Friends & Family,

I bear an extremely heavy heart announcing an unfortunate event that occurred last Friday.

Two of our valued female employees were waiting for a ride home when a 40-year-old black man approached them and questioned if they are Chinese. One of them responded by saying her ethnicity was Thailand. Upon hearing the response, the man began physical assaulting her and accusing that Asians were the cause of COVID-19. The injuries are extensive as he physically assaulted her in the head and threw her to the concrete ground. She is currently in a stable state with a severe concussion but unable to work.

Due to Covid-19, her salary was reduced 50% and she does not have health insurance. We are hoping to get your support so that we can assist her financially during this traumatic time. We know it is a very difficult time for most and understand there are a lot of angry and misinformed people still out there-- please be cautious, safe and healthy at all times.
