Hasuekka Books Project - Encouraging Children to read
Donation protected
FUNDRAISNG IN MEMORY OF HARRY ANSAH AWOTWI
Hasuekka Books Project, a small family project was founded by the Osei-Awotwi's - Harry, Suezanne, Kwesi and Kojo many years ago. The aim of the project is to donate books and stationery to children in villages in Ghana, West Africa to encourage them with no access to story books the opportunity to get free books to read. We do this by using our personal funds to buy books, receive books donated by friends, supporters and family and ship to Ghana.
To date, 15th March 2025, you have helped us raise £1,455 which has enabled us buy 500 books in addition to 1,500 books donated by you.
We are raising the target to £2,000 to enable us buy 500 more books by July 2025 in memory of Harry who passed away on in November 2023. Please help us to buy another 500 books for children between the ages of 5yrs - 13yrs.
Once we receive your donation we will buy the amount in books and send you a receipt and picture of the books. We will also send you a small gift to show our appreciation.
As part of the fundraising Suezanne is walking 5,000 kilometres to raise funds for the shipment later this year as she did in July 2024.
Please support our cause by donating.
If you would like to give us new books, stationery and educational toys, please leave us a message and we will arrange delivery or pick up.
Thank you.
