Hasti’s breast cancer journey

If you know Hasti, you know she is one of the most resilient people on the planet. In the most difficult circumstances she finds a reason to smile with others. Born and brought up in an area engulfed by the chaos of constant war, home damaged many times by mortar shells, she not only survived, but thrived! Her fiancé fataly burned in the same fire that brought her to death's door, but against all odds she survived, completed her education, found dear Allan, married and has two amazing sons. Her career she has always been focused on helping others. Worked 5 years with troubled teens, then 13 yrs with adults (special needs). She just changed jobs to become a behavioral Interventionist for autistic children when her breast cancer was discovered. Now unable to start with new clients due to surgery on 4/13/22 followed by months of healing & another surgery down the road in a few months and treatments done under a COBRA plan, she has huge out of pocket medical expenses and other livings expenses due to no income for the next 6 months.
