Hello, I'm David Bergstrom and my goal is to bring a low priced or free Rock Concert to Hastings, MI the summer of 2026. What could turn into a yearly event will hopefully start as a 1 day festival/concert and has the option of being indoor or outdoor locally in Barry County.

After discussing the plans with a local group we decided to start a gofundme to cover operating costs! We are asking for donations and also looking for Business Sponsors who can help locally!

This is my 3rd event in Barry County that I'll be a promoter for and playing at. In the past year I've hosted events at the Hastings performing Arts Center and the Foxview Event center in Nashville and Kill The Mood has performed with National Acts at clubs in Indiana & Michigan!

The Current plans are 2-4 local bands, including Kill The Mood that would play the show free & depending on funding we could pay to bring in a regional headliner or maybe expand the event!

Money donated would be used for operating the event. Costs like Venue Rental, Event Set Up, Permits, INS, Bathrooms, Staff & Security, Clean up or whatever is needed to be able to legally hold the event & maybe a Regional Headliner depending on funding!

This event would be a good way to bring people together & bring in more bands from the Michigan area to perform live here in Barry County!
