On December 25, 2016, at the dawn of Christmas, an unexpected tragedy struck the Cobb-Jones family. A tragedy that no one was prepared for, a tragedy where no family is expecting to get that phone "call", a tragedy that has left my family totally devastated -- a wonderful, loving, beautiful being was taken away from us by a senseless murder. Hassan Quadir Cobb-Jones was my brother, a father, a son, a uncle, and a dear friend to many; such a hard worker, an amazing father, and an overall caring individual.

During the holidays, when others are celebrating and experiencing joy, my family is going through a lot of pain and grief. The holidays will never be the same for us. Having funeral services for a loved one is a tremendous financial burden for any family, but even more so during the holiday season. At this time I am kindly asking of anyone who would like to financially assist my family during our time of trouble; that you may find it in your hearts to assist us during this time of need. Your generosity can go a long way towards his funeral expenses and the possibility of helping to set up a trust fund for his son. Any and all donations are very much appreciated - no donation is too small.
