Hassan Ali Memorial Fund

بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

إِنَّا لِلَّٰهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

Those who have met Hassan Ali can attest to his selflessness and unparalleled desire to brighten the day of those around him. Always with a smile, he was committed to being there for his family and friends in times of need. Hassan’s presence was inspirational and his positive energy was contagious to all those around him.

On November 11th, 2021, Hassan was tragically involved in a rollover car accident while on his way to work. He suffered multiple injuries and was taken to Abington Hospital where he received emergency brain and spine surgery while remaining in a medically induced coma. During his 18 days at Abington Hospital, the entire community showed their love, support, and offered prayers on his behalf. On Monday November 29th, he succumbed to his injuries and left our world with a huge void.

In Islam, we believe in a continuous charity called Sadaqah Jariyah, wherein a good deed rewards you after death as it continues to helps others. Hassan was 25 years of age, full of life, ambition and goals. Unfortunately, he will not be here to see those goals fulfilled, but we want to do our best to fulfill them for him. To memorialize Hassan, this fund has been created to carry on his kind-hearted nature and continue his efforts to support his community. In his honor, proceeds from this memorial fund will be donated to help build a wudu station at Al-Rashideen Islamic Center , where his janazah prayer was held.

"Whoever builds a house (masjid) for the sake of Allah, whether it be small or large, Allah (Subhanahu wa ta'ala) builds for him a house in Paradise.” (Bukhari)
