On November 10, 2025, the Cole family received devastating news: Jon was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Their world changed in an instant.

Jon and Kelly Cole and their family have been proud members of the Village of Kohler community for over 24 years. They are the loving parents of three wonderful children—Hailey, Maddie, and Kyle. Their kids have always been their top priority-not just their biological children, but all the kids of Kohler. The Cole home has been a welcoming place where local kids gather, borrow bikes, and seek advice, making it a cornerstone of the community.

Kelly has dedicated many years to Kohler Schools as a physical education teacher, runs Kohler Kare, coaches, and mentors. She is known as one of the most beloved teachers in the district, always going above and beyond for her students. From her daily encouragement to organizing cherished traditions like the May Pole graduation ceremony and Senior Camping Trip, Kelly pours her heart into everything she does.

Jon has served the Kohler community through his work with the Village and, in recent years, with the Kohler School District. His warm personality, positive spirit, and genuine love for life brighten every hallway he walks through.
