Hashim Ali

My name is Nabel, and I am reaching out to you with a humble heart to seek your support for a cause very close to my heart. I am raising funds in memory of my late cousin, Hashim Ali, who recently left us for his heavenly abode. Hashim was a beacon of light in our lives, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and it is in this spirit that we wish to continue his legacy.

Our aim is to build a well in Somalia, a country where access to clean water is a privilege, not a given. This well will not only serve as a sadaqah jariyah for Hashim, ensuring that he continues to earn good deeds from the grave, but will also alleviate the hardships of the local community, providing them with a sustainable source of clean water for drinking, cooking, and washing.

In Islam, giving water is among the highest forms of charity, and the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) said, “The best charity is giving water to drink” (Ahmad). By contributing to this project, you will be participating in an act of continuous charity, bringing relief to our brothers and sisters in Somalia, and helping Hashim's soul find peace and solace.

We understand that everyone’s capacity to give is different, and we appreciate every single contribution, be it small or large. The funds raised will be used transparently and exclusively for the construction and maintenance of the well, ensuring its sustainability and continued benefit to the community.
