Harwich Half Marathon

I am running the St Helenas Hospice Half Marathon in September in Memory of my Brother who sadly passed away last year from meningjitis.

For the last 5 years My family would go to Harwich for our Holidays,a place that came to mean more to us then just a spot on the map, it was our escape, our tradition and for me a collection of memories tied to laughter, sea air and my Brother.

My brother had a quiet kind of strength , the kind you dont always notice at first but then you miss deeply when its gone. He was funny and Kind and no matter how cold it was in Harwich it bought out the best in him and all of us.

I started thinking about how to honour him in a way that felt true to who he was and what we shared.Thats why I choose to run this half marathon,This place holds our memories, He would of cheered me on and I carry him with me in every step I take.

The run is for Him for all the summers we had, for the ones we didnt get to and for the love that never left.

Donations will go towards st helenas hospice and Trust Links as they helped my brother alot throughtout the years, Thank you
