Harvey and Kensington Go to Chicago!

Every year, for as long as I can remember, it has been a goal of mine to qualify for the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions in Chicago. This year, I am proud to say, Harvey qualified for the Developing Grand Prix Championships and Kensington qualified for the FEI 7 year old Championships. This is a big accomplishment as they are both ranked in the top 12 in the country!

To be honest, I need financial help to show Harvey and Kensington in Chicago.

It is an honor to receive 2 invitations to the National Championships. The distance from my barn to the Championship is 1,800 miles and with fuel prices the cost will be more than $12,800 just to trailer them. The costs continue with stabling, show fees and coaching. The United States is so large that competing with riders from Florida, New York, California and the rest of the county requires a huge commitment. I am excited and honored to represent you and ride with the best of the best from around the US.

Many riders have sponsors and owners that help to cover these costs - I do not. My approach is to believe in you and to share my knowledge to educate and promote Dressage around the world. I own both horses by myself. Dressage is an amazing sport but to compete at this level, I need your help.

I love showing and I intend to ride Harvey and Kensington to the very best of my ability in the U.S. Dressage Festival of Champions. My promise to you is to share the journey, to show the inside story of competition, and to teach what I learn along the way. I truly appreciate your encouragement and your financial support.
