Our goal is to raise 2500. by September 10, 2019
On September 12 we will drive to Calgary and fly from Calgary to Germany on September 17. We will be ministering in the Cyrus House of Ministry which is a large century house housing Muslim and ex-Muslim Persian Refugees, providing evangelism, discipleship, teaching, prayer and worship. We will return to Calgary, Canada on October 12, 2019. Gregg will drive back to VERNON while Debbie-Lynn accompanies her Mom to Yuma to set up for winter.
While in Germany, our heart is to share the love of Christ with Muslims, disciple and teach new believers, bringing them into a healthy relationship with Christ. We will be praying about the possibility of going back for a longer term.
We are raising in-country travel and living expenses for our duration in Germany so that we will not be a burden to the ministry there but rather bring them support and encouragement. Also, we are helping to raise funds for renovations at the four story ministry house to accommodate incoming refugees with sufficient bathrooms and appropriate living space.
In our past years of ministry we have walked by faith and continue to do so but in this new season have felt God leading us to extend an opportunity for others to contribute towards the ministry of reaching Muslims for Christ.
Paul said it so well in 2 Corinthians 9:9-11 (TPT)
”Just as the Scriptures say about the one who trusts in Him, ‘Because he has sown extravagantly and given to the poor, His kindness and generous deeds will never be forgotten. This generous God who supplies abundant seed for the farmer, which becomes bread for our meals, is even more extravagant towards you. First He supplies every need, plus more. Then
multiplies the seed as you sow it, so that the harvest of your generosity will grow. You will be abundantly enriched in every way as you give generously on every occasion, for when we take your gifts to those in need, it causes many to give thanks to God.’”
May God richly bless you as you make it possible for refugees who have fled Iran to find a better life and to experience freedom in Christ!
