This is a call out to all who know and love Harvest!

To her friends, acquaintances, old clients and anyone who has been woven into her fine tapestry over the years.

Holding the weight and unbelievability in one hand and hope and prayer in the other, I am sharing the current chapter in her beautiful life and our request for financial support.

On August 31, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. By the time it was fully investigated, it had already metastasized to her bones, lungs, and liver.

Of course, this was/is shocking and surreal for her and all her beloveds

Two months earlier, just after returning from Morocco, she had raised concerns about a breast lump and was told it was “probably nothing” . An ultrasound was scheduled seven weeks later.

However, in that time the pain became unmanageable and she ended up in the ER.

Things moved very fast from there. An emergency ultrasound and a bone scan showed cancer in her left hip, right shoulder, and spine. A CT scan soon after confirmed spread to her lungs and liver.

In her words: “There’s no neat emotional arc here yet. Mostly, there’s disbelief. A lot of “how is this even real?” And moments of fear, but also clarity, resolve, and a deep commitment to doing everything I can to support my body through this”.

Harvey Mae has been under extraordinary stress for a few years related to a prolonged conflict on her land co-op. This has forced her to leave her home. Certainly, the chronic stress and also the loneliness of this sustained experience has impacted her immune function and the inflammation in her body. She has now moved to a beautiful home where she is held and cared for by her besties and is facing into herself with courage and self-love. This includes sweating, fasting, sleeping, meditating, praying and taking a small herd of supplements.

Harvest is living with severe, intermittent pain, which fluctuates day to day. She is focusing on supportive, non-toxic, whole-body approaches alongside medical monitoring—things that help reduce inflammation, support detoxification, and give her immune system the best possible chance to do its work.

This fundraiser is for practical support to access what she needs for her survival and quality of life:

• An infrared sauna: for ongoing, every-other-day use to support detoxification and pain management.

• Potential travel to a cancer clinic in Mexico- should that option become viable.

• A liquid biopsy and Advanced ctDNA profiling testing.

• Supplements and therapeutic teas — she currently take over 20 supplements monthly, which adds up quickly.

• Nutritious, healing food — real food is medicine, and it is expensive.

• Basic financial stability- She has reluctantly applied for disability payments, but this will take a few months

Harvey, the fierce and kind and independent and generous and bright wondercat that she is, the friend that she is, is asking for- is needing- a field of prayer that she can lean into.

Good thoughts and strong belief.

Seeing her as healthy and healed.

Holding her in however-you-pray prayer.
