Hi! My name is Lydia Griffin. I am a Sophomore at West Lincoln Attendance Center. It has been a dream of mine to be able to attend an Ivy League school one day. I did some research, found and applied to Harvard’s Pre-College Program being offered this summer. This program is a great opportunity for me to begin my future in medicine. I received my acceptance letter Tuesday afternoon. This is a dream come true for me! If I can reach my goal, I will attend Harvard University for two weeks this summer to study. The goal I have set will cover tuition, housing and food for me to attend. This portion is due no later than April 13. My parents and I will still be responsible for the trip to and from Massachusetts. I have been involved in numerous community service programs the last two summers including BARL in Franklin and Lincoln counties as well as King’s Daughters Medical Center’s volunteer program. I am now reaching out to that same community to give back and help me achieve this awesome and once in a lifetime opportunity!
