Harv & Jo Friesen adoption

Harvey and Joanna Friesen are a couple who love children and have had a heart for adoption even prior to their marriage in August of 2014. They have been actively involved in the licensing and adoption process for over four years…a process that has involved a lot of paperwork, WAITING, home studies, background checks, WAITING, phone calls and emails, classes, and MORE WAITING.

They were hoping and praying for a private adoption for the last 3+ years, with no resulting match with a child taking place. Currently Harv and Jo are pursuing international adoption from Bulgaria, with hopes of bringing home a child or sibling group, even though that complete process may take a few more years of waiting. Up til this point, they have been working and saving toward adoption fees; however, the costs are significantly higher with this switch in their adoption plan. Also, a significant portion of the fees are due shortly in order to “go active” in Bulgaria. The remaining fees come due when one is matched with the child/children further into the process. They would appreciate your prayers as they continue to seek God's direction in this endeavour.

Knowing God has called His people to care for the fatherless and orphans, Harv and Jo are trusting Him to supply the funds as they follow His leading.
