Hello, My name is Haruna Njoye. I am 33 years old and have been suffering from an ulcer on my right leg, which is life-threatening because I am a sickle cell patient. For the past 13 years, the minor wound I sustained from an injury on a soccer field has degenerated into a major leg ulcer, and I now require a hip replacement.

My degenerating condition caught the attention of Bui Cultural Association Carolinas members, who provided the initial funds to help kick off my treatment in Douala, Cameroon. Thanks to these funds, relocated from my village Nso, where there are no advanced medical facilities, to temporarily settle closer to a wound care specialist in Douala.

I am out of funds and still need a hip replacement and medication to contain my constant excruciating pain.

I am pleading for your help to assist me in getting a hip replacement, which will allow me to regain my life. I still dream of returning to complete school and pursue my career of becoming a wound specialist nurse. Thanks for your help in advance; it will go a long way.
