Haru needs your help!

Hi! My name is Reaver, and I would be grateful if you could help my best friend. Haru was playing around and chasing bugs like a normal kitten. I'm assuming he got too excited and pursued them to the balcony as I wasn't paying any attention to him in that short time, then he fell over the edge without anyone noticing. After half an hour to an hour of searching for him inside, we started to worry and think that he might have slipped out of the balcony or run out the doors without us knowing. I spent the whole night searching for him outside in the dark, worried I would never see him again. After many hours of searching, I decided to get some rest and try again tomorrow.

After a few hours of sleep, I got a phone call from my best friend telling me that he knew where my cat was and that someone had shared a post about Haru on Facebook. My neighbor wrote that they found a kitten in their backyard screaming in pain and that she didn't know who the owner was. My friend messaged her about Haru and told them it belonged to me and slipped out of my balcony. They told me that when they found the kitten in their yard, they had to take him to see if they could do anything, then rushed it to the vet immediately.

The vet took x-rays of the cat's bones to see if they broke anything, and I was told that the kitten's right thigh bone was broken and needed surgery as soon as possible. The vet told me a day later that the cat had calmed down and started to eat, drink and use her cat litter with no trouble. He currently can not use his leg to walk and seemed sad cause of that.
