Hartzell High School E-Learning Initiative

The COVID 19 pandemic has ravaged the world and school systems have been severely impacted. Our very own Hartzell High School continues to be affected by school closures due to the pandemic. Without efficient and effective online access, teachers have been unable to teach and or connect with students during the lockdown periods.

 

Hartzell Old Students Association (HOSA) engaged a well known internet service provider Dandemutande to set up the required WIFI infrastructure and an e-learning platform for the school. We expect to have WIFI coverage in the following areas; new school administration block , classrooms , library,  teacher offices , girls and boys dormitories.

 

Dande will also set up google classrooms for teachers and students to use. The computer department will be responsible for monitoring content students have access to and overall security of the network.

 

HOSA has joined forces with parents to fundraise for this project and our goal is to raise US$5,400.00 by December 31st 2021. We are appealing to all parents of current and former students , Hartzell alumni, and well wishers to help us make light work of this Fundraising initiative. As HOSA fundraising committee we guarantee you 100% transparency as we did during the Buy a Book campaign.
