Hart’s recovery journey

Hi! For those of you who don’t know, I’m Taylor, Hart’s older sister. On Wednesday, October 16th, Hart who is only 17, was rushed from Jersey Shore Hospital to UPMC Williamsport for low oxygen. He has been in an induced coma and on a ventilator ever since. This time has been extremely difficult for my entire family, but especially my parents. My mom has not left Hart’s side and both of my parents are missing work and commuting back and forth. I am setting this up for my parents to hopefully lift a tiny amount of stress off of their shoulders during this time. We are unsure of when he will be off the ventilator or when he will be able to come home, we’re taking it day by day. After released from ICU he will then go to pediatrics. All funds will go directly to my parents for transportation, lost wages, and to help with any medical costs. Hart is hanging in there and we are extremely blessed to have such a supportive community.
