Dear Family and Friends,
Candace and I have the opportunity to go on a short-term mission to Alaska in early July with other members of Verde Community Church.
We will be performing service projects, vacation Bible School, outreach, sports ministry, and mercy ministry during our service. The people of Alaska have many needs, both physical, and spiritual. Alaska is the most unchurched state in the union and the church needs help reaching out to communities, with the love of Christ. Our goal is to go with servant hearts, ready to show Christ through our actions as well as our words, while at the same time having open minds to get to know the Alaskan people and their amazing culture.
As many of you know, the Lord saved my life and rebuilt my family. Our journey has been one of beautiful grace and I know that our testimony and the story of my struggles and rebirth can impact those who are looking for Christ to enter their hearts.
We need people to partner with us both financially and in prayer. The total cost of the trip is $4,000.00 which we will need to raise by the end of April, 2020. Candace and I will both be working extra jobs and projects to help cover the cost of the mission. However, it is our goal that any additional money can be given to the Alaskan churches we will be partnering with.
Thank you for your support. We will let you know how trip preparations are going over the upcoming months and will send emails to supporters telling the story of our trip and how the Lord blessed us.
