Hi ... my name is Schemetta, and I'm reaching out from Daytona Beach, Florida with a heavy heart to ask for your support. My wonderful husband, Hartley, is currently hospitalized and being treated for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He's undergoing extensive treatments far from home at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. And it's been extremely difficult and emotionally devastating for me to not be by his side to comfort and encourage him to have the will to beat this insidious challenge.

Unfortunately, the cost of airfare is a significant barrier. We've exhausted all financial options, including grants from various cancer societies and other non-profit organizations, which at this point makes travel impossible. Any contributions, no matter how small, will go directly toward transportation expenses. Your generosity will help me cover air and cab fare to and from the hospital as often as I can afford to go with your help.
