Chris and Yanet, the owners of Hartland Bar-B-Que, woke up on Sunday morning with some terrible news. A car drove into the corner building where their business, Hartland-B-Que, is located. The accident completely destroyed their front door, wall, and glass on one side of the building, along with significant structural and interior damage.
Chris and Yanet, who have been part of the family business for many years, and recently took over its ownership. They are a hard-working family who dedicates their lives to the business while raising their many children. Prior to the accident, their business was struck by an overnight burglary just weeks ago. Chris and Yanet have led Hartland Bar-B-Que through the pandemic that left many businesses in a vulnerable position, small thefts, a burglary, and now this destructive hit-and-run crash.
As friends and fellow business owners, we believe it is our responsibility to help lift them up during this difficult time. Besides our own donation and contribution, we asked Chris and Yanet's permission to create this GoFundMe campaign. We hope our community will come together to support this local family business as they gather their strength and resources to rebuild their business.
