Harter & Lane Jr. Relief Fund

I am starting this fundraiser to support Bryan Lane Jr. and Zach Harter. As each of you knows, Bryan and Zach lost their jobs this week due to Jay Inslee’s Proclamation 21-14.1: COVID-19 Vaccination Requirement. Both Bryan and Zach are good men with strong convictions. They chose to uphold these convictions in the face of significant emotional and potential financial hardship.

 

       Everyone is entitled to their opinion of the mandate, but something we can all agree on is that Bryan and Zach are great people with big hearts. Zach is known to have a contagious laugh and a kind spirit. He is a father of five, a Veteran that served his country, and chose to further his service as a firefighter. Bryan is a new father and husband to his wonderful wife. He spent almost the entirety of his career working at our downtown station and was a dedicated member of our technical rescue team. Anyone who has crossed paths with Bryan was always met with a warm smile and a giant hug.

 

       Both men are kind-spirited, generous, loving, and selfless people who would give you the shirt off their back. I’m asking for your consideration and support. If you would, please donate to Zach, Bryan, and their families as they navigate their lives moving forward, separate from the fire service. The next few months will be difficult for them, and a donation of any amount will be greatly appreciated.
