HARSH REALITY OF A FORCED COVID VAX MANDATE

Hi all. My name is Jennifer and I am raising funds for my sister-in-law Lisa. Lisa is a healthcare worker, and a couple months back her employer informed staff that they would be required to be vaccinated against Covid or would be terminated as of December 8, 2021 if they refuse. Lisa, being a hard worker and someone who loves her job, didn't want to lose her job, and she knew that financially that was not an option at all. Lisa's husband (my brother) has Multiple Sclerosis, and the thought of losing her job when your husband suffers from an illness like MS can be catastrophic. He has full-time job but due to his condition, there are times during MS flare ups that he may be out of work for weeks at a time so a steady income is crucial for when that happens.

On September 21, 2021, Lisa got her first dose of the Moderna vaccine. She received her second dose on October 26, 2021. On October 28th, just two days after her second dose, she started to break out in several nickel sized lesions on her thigh. The very next morning, October 29th, she was COVERED head to toe (literally) in these lesions and they ranged in sizes from a penny up to the size of a silver dollar. They were more inflamed. Her husband rushed her to the ER, and they had NO IDEA what it could be. They took blood, and referred her to a dermatologist for further examination. At her dermatology appointment, the doctor there was also stumped as to what this could be, and took a biopsy of one of the lesions on her right forearm to send off to pathology. She did mention that it may be a weird case of psoriasis but seemed to make that suggestion due to a lack of being to find anything else to tie it to at that time. When the pathology report came back, it was noted by the pathologist that it was a "drug induced skin eruption" and the only thing new that had been introduced into Lisa's system at all was this Moderna vaccine just 48 hours prior to the onset of these lesions. No new medications. Nothing else. Just that vaccine. Lisa's PCP has even mentioned that it could possibly be Johnson's Syndrome- but again, it seems like they are just throwing the symptoms around, and grasping at anything that it may stick to so to speak because they do not want to even admit that it could very likely be a very adverse reaction to a vaccine that is under heavy public scrutiny right now.

Fast forward to and through the next month or so, and Lisa is still in horrific constant pain. These lesions that were at first mostly just unsightly and worrisome are now causing her horrific pain. She is unable to work because her skin is literally falling off in sheets which then leaves behind new skin that is raw and painful too. These sores are everywhere- in her scalp, underarms, face, back, legs, feet, arms, hands, and even in her most sensitive places too. There is not a place on her body that is unaffected by these sores. Going to the restroom causes her excruciating pain. Walking is only possible to do just to get to bed, the sofa or the bathroom. Baths are excruciating. Showers are not even an option because the pounding water on her skin couldn't be tolerated and having to stand to take one is not possible. Her hands are covered in the sores too, so anything you have to do that requires the use of hands or fingers is also off the table. Even wearing clothing and pulling the sheets over her causes her pain. She is losing weight that she doesn't need to lose because this has affected her appetite and her mental health in a big way. She is depressed, lonely, sad and worries every second of everyday if she will have a job to go back to and if she will ever be "normal" again. Her hair is also falling out because of the sores and the scars left behind. As a woman, this alone without the pain that accompanies it all, is devastating enough. It is disfiguring. It is life altering. It is scary, and it is NOT OK. And it is likely all because of a vaccine that was pushed out in record time and then forced upon people against their will through fear tactics and threats of losing their jobs and ability to survive. Lisa did attempt to return to work because she needs the paycheck desperately and is out of PTO but she had to wear thick gloves, a hoodie/scarf, and was unable to do anything that involved walking, typing or drawing blood from her patients because of the condition her hands and feet are in. SO two days of that and she was back at home to suffer in silence. It is worth mentioning to that a couple of her coworkers offered up their own PTO to Lisa. They wanted to donate it to her so she could stay home and recover and not be so concerned about finances all of the time. However, Human Resources is now saying they do not know if they will allow them to donate their PTO to her at all. Makes ZERO sense to me, since it is THEIR time and their choice to donate it. Especially considering this company and their mandate were the catalyst for how Lisa found herself in this situation to begin with. But being that they are an Australian company that has some facilities here in the US, I can't say that it really surprises me much knowing what is happening in Australia currently regarding the vaccine.

GFM donations will be used for medical bills, tests, procedures, medications, rent, groceries, and other bills that Lisa and Brandon have so that they can stay afloat while she heals and until she can go back to work safely, Stress is a HUGE factor in our health, and Lisa worries that the stress of everything financially will cause Brandon to have some MS flareups which would then force him to miss time and money from his own job too so we are trying to lessen their stress and help them through this very scary time. He has missed quite a bit of work as is caring for Lisa and taking her to appointments and such already and at this time, they have no idea how they are going to keep a roof over their heads and pay for their bills. We hope that you can help us help them and we are grateful for each and every one of you who will find it in your heart to show them both a little love during this season of giving and hope.

It really is a disfiguring thing she is dealing with and to try and just explain it with words will never do it justice. You need to SEE with your own eyes what she is dealing with and has been dealing with for 6 weeks now consistently and without any answers even NOW. Please, be KIND. Be compassionate. Showing these photos to the world is not easy for her, and it is probably the most vulnerable she has ever been but she shouldn't have to hide. This is not something she has any control over at all and she has suffered (and continues to suffer) from this everyday. Let me clarify for the record, that our intention here is not politically motivated at all. We do not want this GFM to come across to anyone as if we are telling you to not get the vaccine or telling you that you should get it either. That is a decision only YOU can (and should) make for yourself. We are not anti vaxxers at all. In fact, I myself am vaccinated. I chose to get vaccinated of my own free will and without being threatened to do so. We do wholeheartedly support CHOICE when it comes to what we inject into our own bodies especially when it's a vaccine that is so new that the longterm and immediate effects of it are unknown. We hope you understand WHY she decided to go ahead and get vaccinated and why she personally regrets that decision now.
