Harry's Voice: Making Speech Boards Affordable

Harry's Voice came about as the result of our family's experience with a broken medical system. Our son, Harry, needs a speech board to communicate. The process to get him one was months-long, and when we finally got one, we received a bill for $3,500 after insurance. So, we sent the board back and made Harry his own for less than $500.

We knew there had to be a way for kids like Harry to find their voice without charging families thousands of dollars. Thus, Harry's Voice was born.

We make speech boards using the same platforms and software as the companies that charge patients thousands of dollars but do so in a way that lets us pass little-to-no cost onto the patients' families.

We went into this work because we care about helping people. We care about families getting the support they need. More than anything, we care about people. There is no reason a family should go into debt to do something as simple as giving their child a voice, and we are working to make sure it never happens again.
