It rips my heart out to let you know that it’s time to say goodbye to our little Harry. Just shy of 21 years, he’s the sweetest, smartest cat I’ve ever known. We’ve spent a lot the last couple of years keeping him going, and it’s been worth every penny, but it adds up fast and we’re maxing out credit cards and depleting savings accounts. I’d do it all again! Tomorrow a veterinarian will come to our apartment so we can give him the goodbye he deserves. To be home with us until the very end. We can swing it, but the cost is twice what we expected. We were denied an extension on our credit limit, which is disturbing on many levels but especially right now.
