We would like to introduce ourselves to you! We are Steph and Claire and we had the honour and heartbreak of becoming Mummies to our born sleeping baby boy, Harry, on December 1st 2025.
We are so fortunate that during this difficult time we have had wonderful support and love from family and friends and some of this came in the form of self-care packages. It was a great way to gently look after selves when grief often makes this very hard to do.
We wanted to extend the same gift to other parents going though babyloss, and so set out to create some self-care packages to be given out to those using the Snowdrop suite at Rotherham Hospital. We asked friends and family if they would like to support this project and the response was phenomenal. We quickly expanded our 5 box goal to create 10!
We have been in contact with the bereavement midwife and have made arrangements to drop off our first lot of boxes in April. To mark the time around what would have been Harry's due date in a positive way.
We feel this could be the start of something quite special to create a legacy for our baby boy but more importantly to make sure that other parents feel less alone.
Sadly, we imagine they'll be more need for these and would appreciate your continued support.
Any funds raised will go towards making more of the self-care packages, supplying the bereavement suite with any necessities and potentially expanding our reach to other local hospitals such as Sheffield, Doncaster and Barnsley.
Thank you for reading snd any and all support.
