Harry’s 100k Bike Ride to help save Chester Zoo
Back in 2017 we visited Chester Zoo and had such an amazing time seeing all the
animals. Today Harry saw on the tv that Chester zoo has been deeply affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and asked me if we could help as he didn’t want the zoo
to shut or any animals to die. We talked
about how he would need to do
something special that people would
sponsor him for. He decided that he wants to raise some money by doing one of his favourite things, bike riding ♂️.
A few weeks ago he got a new bike and
has been going out with his daddy on a
daily basis. The furthest he has been so
far is 11 kilometres.
The challenge Harry has set, with our
help, is to bike 100 kilometres over 10
days, starting tomorrow, Saturday 6 JuneAt 6 years old this will be a tiring challenge but he is very exciting at the
prospect of helping the zoo and the
animals.
We are so proud of him for thinking of
others and wanting to help. He would
really like to raise £100, whilst we
appreciate that these are difficult times
for many of you, if you can help and
donate, no matter how little, Harry
would really appreciate it.
p.s he will be wearing his helmet at all
times!!
Thank you for all of us. X
