The Harry W. Ogden Jr. Memorial Scholarship was established to honor and remember the life of a family member and friend. Harry was an average student with big ambitions. One of his goals as a young high school student was to graduate from college. In 2005, Harry graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business. The Harry W. Ogden Jr. Memorial Scholarship is a one-time award that focuses on rewarding ambitious, driven, and goal-oriented individuals who may not have received any financial scholarships. The goal of this scholarship is to support and encourage young African-American men and women and make their dream of attending a college or university a reality.
