Dear Friends and Fellow Cat Lovers,

HARRY THOMAS NEEDS OUR HELP!

Yesterday afternoon, Sunday Nov. 26th, Susan's beloved, and very cool cat Harry Thomas, accidentally fell from her 4th story balcony. He was missing and couldn’t be found for hours. Luckily another neighbor found him before Susan could and was keeping him in his apartment.

Once Susan located Harry, she rushed him to Dove Lewis, as it was very apparent he was in severe pain.

The doctors immediately found fluid around his heart and lungs. Breathing became a real struggle as his condition worsened with time. He was admitted to the hospital for further testing and was put on oxygen and pain meds to stabilize him.

X-Rays show that Harry has more than 4 broken ribs, a severely bruised lung with hemorrhaging and bruising. They also found that he has organs that are herniating into this abdomen.

Surgery to correct the hernia is the next step, but the vets are too concerned with his injured lungs to put him under anesthesia at this time. He must stay in the hospital until surgery, which may be tomorrow. Anyone who has experienced a vet hospital stay like this understands the expenses that add up.

Asking for help like this is not something Susan is used to. If you know her at all, she is always there for her family and friends. Even me, the ex-husband. So, I am asking that we all be there for her in this urgent time of need. She loves Harry so much, and I know she would appreciate anything to help save him and her from this very stressful situation.
