On 13 September 2026, the world lost an extraordinary little boy. Our beloved godson, Harry Salm, passed away at just 9 years old after a brave battle with brain cancer.

Harry was first diagnosed with medulloblastoma, an aggressive cancerous brain tumour, in 2022, just 14 days after the birth of his baby sister, Millie. What should have been one of the happiest times for the family suddenly became the start of a journey no family should ever have to face.

Harry underwent major surgery, followed by months of proton beam therapy in Germany and almost a year of chemotherapy back in the UK. Throughout it all, he showed remarkable courage, resilience and positivity that inspired everyone around him. Against the odds, Harry fought his way through treatment and began the road to recovery.

Sadly, in February 2026, Harry's family received the devastating news every parent dreads. The cancer had returned and this time there were no curative treatment options. The diagnosis was terminal.

Throughout this time , Harry's parents, Andy and Vicki, dedicated themselves to making every moment count. Together with his little sister Millie, they filled Harry's days with love, laughter, adventures and precious memories that will be treasured forever.

Despite everything he faced, Harry continued to amaze those around him. One of his proudest achievements was creating a children's book called Monster Catchers, a reflection of his imagination, creativity and determination to leave something special behind.

Harry touched the lives of so many people. His courage inspired a many, and the love surrounding him and his family has been extraordinary. Many friends, family members and local supporters have asked how they can help Andy, Vicki and Millie during this unimaginably difficult time.

We have created this page to help ease the financial burden of funeral costs and to provide support for the family as they begin to navigate life without their much loved son and brother. Any funds raised beyond the funeral expenses will go directly to Andy, Vicki and Millie to help them adjust to their new normal and give them the time and space they need to grieve without additional financial pressures.

No amount of money can ever replace Harry, but together we can show this wonderful family how much they are loved and supported.
