Hi everyone,

This is Harry, though most of my friends and family know him as Noot . He’s my mom’s dog and one of the most loving, sociable and gentle souls you’ll ever meet.

Harry is 10 years old and has previously had surgery for tooth extraction costing £700, now this has unfortunately developed into more severe gum disease and a painful abscess.

Greyhounds and lurchers are especially prone to dental and gum disease even with good care and it’s something that can progress quickly without warning.

Harry’s already had antibiotics for the abscess which came to £50 but the vet has now confirmed he urgently needs dental surgery. This will involve tooth extractions and further investigation while he’s under anaesthetic.

The surgery is booked for 6th February at 8am and the cost is £350 which needs to be paid on the day. We’re doing everything we can but we need a bit of help to get him the treatment he needs and out of pain.
