Hello-
My name is Josh Leftwich and I am the writer/director of the upcoming short film "Harry Had a Plan". I am proud to announce the project to you, one that's been in the works since the past 2 and a half years and will be a thesis project for my entry into Graduate School.
When the plan to rob a bank goes horribly wrong and the options become extremely limited, Harry, a financially desperate man, and Frank, a dubious older ex-con, stagger back to the rendezvous to await the third accomplice, Harry’s younger brother, all the while maintaining the pretense that it will all work out.
The film aims to deconstruct familiar tropes within the crime genre to better understand the ways in which people fall to greed, process guilt, and long for more.
The money required will go to location permits, actor's salaries, costuming and production design, as well as catering for the hard-working cast and crew.
