Harrison Sandifer, the 28 year old son of long-time Kwajalein residents Tom and Amy Sandifer, was hit by a drunk driver while on his way to work on his motorcycle.  He is currently hospitalized and paralyzed in both legs from a spinal cord injury.  Additional surgery will be performed for other injuries.  Long-term level of recovery is unknown.  Unfortunately the driver who hit Harrison was uninsured and Harrison had just started a new job, but was not eligible for health insurance during his 90-day probationary period.  Needless to say, the Sandifer's will be faced with any number of unknown expenses as they deal with this tragic, life-changing event.  Any help that you provide will be appreciated by the Sandifer's more than you will ever know.
