Harrison Gelinas Eagle Scout Project

Hi everyone,

My name is Harrison Gelinas and I am raising money for my Eagle Scout Project. I am a Life Scout in Rye Troop 2 and a member of the Order of the Arrow, the national honors society of Boy Scouts.

For my project, I will build a quiet area in the Rye Nature Center, called the Rye Refect Garden, for visitors to "Rest, Relax, and Refresh." I believe the creation of this peaceful place surrounded by nature will benefit our Rye community, help people get away from their daily stress and pressures, and give everyone a moment to recharge.

I am raising $2,250 to purchase materials to build a nice fence and an archway, three relaxing Adirondack chairs, and several native plants.
