Harrison Dean Hurt and Family
Donation protected
Infant Son of Jay & Lynn (Daniels) Hurt
Lynn is the daughter of Chuck and Angie Daniels who are lifelong natives of the Novinger, MO area.
This sweet baby boy, Harrison Dean, was born December 11th at Childrens Mercy in Kansas City.
His battle began long before they were blessed to meet him. At 12 weeks pregnant, they found out Harrison would have Omphalocele, a complication where his intestines are formed in a sack outside of his abdomen. 1 in 4,200 families are affected by this very challenging battle. Omphalocele is possible to overcome but it can have many complications. They are so lucky that Harrison is in the care of an incredible team of Doctors & Nurses at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida.
His struggles began right out of the gate, but his spirit is strong & they have all the faith that with God's grace, Harrison Dean can win this battle. They have been given a timeline that could be as short as a few months but to be prepared for many months of healing & ironing out any complications that may arise. Harrison is the most precious gift this family has ever received.
Jay and Lynn have been right beside Harrison every step of the way during his journey and will remain, as they hold him every chance they get and love on him every second. They are currently residing at the Ronald McDonald House near the hospital.
The money raised will go to help them with bills, food and unforeseen issues.
They will continue staying with their sweet baby until he gets to come home and that is months of them being without their jobs.
In addition to this GFM, we will be holding a benefit auction and meal on Saturday, March 2nd at the Adair Co R-1, Novinger School starting at 5pm.
We also have a T-Shirt and bracelet fund that goes directly to the family also.
