Hi, if you've recieved this message it is because you are are either a friend of mine or a friend of the sport of Cycling.

Many of you will have followed the adventures of my son Harrison as he navigates his way through the Sport. From a cheeky under 8 to leaving the u19 ranks his enthusiasm has never wavored. I've obviously been there for it all. The ups, the downs, the crashes, the long days and nights. It's been a Hell of a ride. From cafe rides with me to the Paris Roubaix and Tour of Flanders. We've done some amazing stuff. The later part enabled hugely be Fensham Howes and the Rayner Foundation. Fantastic results. Podium finishes in UCI 1.1 races, Top 10s at Tour of Flanders and E3. Wheel to wheel with the best in Europe is impossibly tough. The commitment it takes for youngsters to get there in this modern age is beyond comprehension. They litterally live and breath it at the expense of absolutely everything else in life.

Cycle Sport in the UK is in an extremely difficult place. Lack of racing means a lack teams. Lack of exposure means Lack of Sponsors.

He didn't get a place on a European World Tour Development Team for 2026. Harrisons good results came in early Summer. Places in the top teams were filled in early spring. This has left him in a challenging position.

Continuing racing in Europe at this level is difficult financially. He has been fortunate to get a place on a British Team that has aspirations for European racing but this isn't a fully funded position. The list of expenses for a years racing is eyewatering to any mortal parent or rider.

In short, we are shamelessly reaching out for donations to help continue the journey. Until very recently it did look like it was the end of the road. After some long talks I couldn't see how we could continue at this level. Peice by peice it is coming together.
