On August 24th, on I-85 N near exit 23, our brother Harrison Campbell ran off the interstate and hit a tree at full speed, flipping his truck.
He was stuck for at least an hour while workers extracted him from his vehicle where he was air lifted by helicopter to CMC main.
He has suffered a dislocated hip, 9 broken ribs, fractured vertebrae, bruised lungs, lacerated spleen, a severely lacerated lip along with many cuts and bruised. He will also have a tooth extracted due to trauma. He has been in the most indescribable pain and has finally found some slight relief with a nerve block.
It is God’s miracle our sweet brother is alive. No one should have survived that horrible accident, but he did.
So many people in our community know Harrison. They know him as someone with the biggest heart—someone who cares and does so many kind things for others and always has.
Right now he needs help—In so many ways. He has no car, no insurance due to it not kicking in yet with his job, and will have so many medical bills due to the extensive care he’s receiving.
If anyone can help with donations, our family will be forever grateful. It will never go unthought of.
As his sister, I am asking anyone to please help us. He is my baby brother that I have always protected.
I can’t begin to imagine this life without Harrison and I am thankful God decided to keep him here that day.
I appreciate everyone who reads this and please pray for our family.
