Harris Endy-Daniel memorial fund

Harris was an energetic, talented young man who loved life.  Despite some rough obstacles, he continued to strive and persevere; carving his way to a bright future.  He was passionate about so many things, but the one that topped his list was drumming.  He was a talented, driven marching snare player with the Pike Marching Red Devils and Red Devil Percussion winter drumline at Pike High School in Indianapolis.  He also played drumset with the pep band, jazz band, and for a local church at their Sunday morning services.  Harris was taken from his friends and family suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 17 due to an unknown heart defect.  He touched the lives of so many people, and those that are left behind are devastated.

Due to financial constraints there is no money for a funeral to honor him properly.  We are raising money to cover the expense of a modest funeral and hope to have money left over to start a memorial scholarship in his name for future band members of Pike High School in need of paying participation fees so that others can enjoy the same support, family, and friendship that Harris received.

Please consider donating to ensure that Harris can be put to rest with peace and dignity and so the legacy that this young man brought to the Pike High School performing arts community can live on.

UPDATE:  Due to the necessity of a quick turnaround of funds to pay for the funeral, it was necessary to charge the expenses to my personal credit card.  I split a total of $7500 in expenses between Stuart Mortuary and Crown Hill Cemetery.   The total amount raised will be withdrawn into my personal checking account.  $7500 will then go to the credit card company to pay for the funeral charges incurred.  The balance will be dispersed to Pike Township Educational Foundation who will be the manager of the Harris Endy-Daniel memorial scholarship fund.
