Harpreet Randhawa (Sunny) 1982 - 2022

 

A beloved Father, Husband, and Delta AMT

 

 

On March 6th 2022, our dearest friend Harpreet Randhawa also known as Sunny in our Delta family was involved in a tragic car accident on his way to work. Unfortunately, the impact was so severe, he suffered serious injuries and did not make it. It was on the same day he celebrated his 12th wedding anniversary with his family. Sunny left behind his wife Simrin Randhawa, his nine-year-old boy Sartaj Singh Randhawa, and his mother Nikki Randhawa.

 

 

With the permission from the Randhawa family, we started this Gofundme page to show our deepest sympathy and respect and to raise funds to help them through the challenging time.

 

 

Sunny’s Aviation Career

Sunny finished his A&P/Associate Degree program from Spartan College Riverside. His achievements included:

In 2018, Sunny joined the first-ever Delta PFE (Potential-Full Time-Employee) program as a Tool Room Attendant at LAX. He was the first successor to be awarded with the AMT position from the program. Sunny’s contribution to Delta Air Lines was tremendous with his qualification on aircraft types B737, B757, and B767. He would courageously take on any challenge without any question asked. Just like when he was in school, his attendance was always perfect. He was never late to work. He would never turn down anyone who needed help. He was a role model to many of us at work. It is a great loss for the Delta family and the aviation industry. Our heart goes out to the Randhwa family.
