Who is Harper?

I am Ashley Harper, a 6 year veteran in the beauty industry. My love for beauty predates the spark of my nail career.  I am a graduate of the illustrious North Carolina Agriculture & Technical State University.  I am a Durhamite, affectionately known as a Geermite.  I am a innovator. I am both a teacher and a student of the craft. 

What is Harper's Parlour?

The beginnings of Harper's Parlour was a way to celebrate my father's legacy. Reginald 'Spanky' Harper was a joyful and proud man who loved life. I quickly picked up the name Harper as a way to honor him and distinguish myself in the nail industry. The Parlour is a place of rejuvenation, joy, and creativity. Part of my mission is  to ensure members of the community can remember and value the sacredness of fellowship while enjoying the parlour aesthetics and experience. 

How can you contribute?

Harper's Parlour has been in the works for many years. Each client, each appointment, each referral is important. Your contributions will help create a boutique nail experience for all clients- the first of it's kind in Durham, NC. This space will be curated to celebrate the details of self care and artistry. This new beginning has been a beautiful experience- more beautiful than I could have imagined.
