We are raising money for Harper's mom and dad to get by on while she is recovering from her heart transplant. This little girl was born with HLHS where one side of her heart doesn't develop. She has gone through a couple of reconstruction surgeries for this but when they got to the last one they saw it wouldn't help matters it would make worse so instead they put her on the heart transplant list. We were thinking we were going to have to have her stay in the hospital starting next month but since her blood oxygen dropped it moved her up on the list. And we got a call last night telling us there was a heart for her. So they had to fly to Nashville last night. Which is 3 hours away from where we live. As her grandmother I checked to see if there was room for her parents at the Ronald McDonald house but it is full. So we have had to get hotel room. This happened so fast that we haven't had a chance to arrange more than a few days at the hotel right now. So what we will be using money for is hotel room. Food and things for parents to get by right now. We appreciate any help we can get and will be updating this page as we get information. As of right now my little buggie is still in surgery and will be til late this afternoon.

Thank you for your time and interest in our little fighter.
Update.... Thursday March 25th....
Well ms bug made it through the surgery and after a few hours she was turning a nice pretty pink and her blood oxygen was up to 98% which is amazing since hers was 79%. .. When her parents went to see her afterwards they had to be really quiet even with her still being sedated she was trying to wake up... That is one child who is so scared she is going to miss something. She is just so stubborn. As of last night they removed the breathing tube. She is doing great. We were told yesterday that her mom and grandmother are going to have to stay in Nashville which is 3 hours away from our home for 6 to 8 weeks. They have to go back to the hospital every few days for tests after she is released from the hospital. Little ms bug is not allowed to go out into public for a while so thank goodness for her tablets.
Here is a few pictures from last night. She is a wake but still really out of it...

I will give you more info when I hear more....
