HOPE FOR HARPER

My Harper girl is sick and she needs your help. In a world where so many people need so much, I am truly humbled to ask for your help with the medical bills for my beloved Harper, the dog that has taught me how to love with my whole heart. Last Monday morning she had 5 Grand Mal Seizures in the span of two hours. The entire event was devastating and heartbreaking. Fortunately, when we got her to the vet, she had her last seizure in the office and they were at least able to see the seizure as it happened. The only way to stop them was with massive doses of a strong sedative which she has remained on ever since.



There are other potential diagnoses that are less dire. However, without the proper diagnostic tools such as an MRI, an ultrasound, medications, visits to the neurologist et al, we cannot know. Because of her medical history and a small seizure event that occurred 8 months ago, they are of the thinking that it’s a brain tumor. Unfortunately, those diagnostic tools in addition to follow up treatments are beyond my financial capabilities and I am humbly asking for your help.

And while I am keenly aware of the temptations but ultimately the selfishness of keeping my dog on endless and expensive treatments, without the initial MRI, Ultrasound and X ray the doctors and I are unsure as to what the problem is and are therefore unable to help. This is a terrible position to be in and so I am asking for your help.

I want to do everything in my power to help her regain her health and well being and if the time comes in this process where I have to make the decision to let her go, I have to know that I did everything I could, but we are not there yet and you can help us find out what is wrong with my precious Harper. She has been one of the most amazing gifts in my entire 45 years on this planet. I can’t express enough how this creature has absolutely transformed my life. I know it sounds cliche but I didn’t rescue her….She rescued me.
