Hello, I'm Frederick Zada (brother/bestfriend) and I'm fundraising for 8yr old Harper Riopelle daughter of now decease Derek Riopelle. And this is one of the hardest things I've had to do in my entire life.

Unfortunately on Tuesday night Oct 12 2021 Derek Riopelle was killed on his way to work due to a vehicle accident. If you have the blessing and privilege of knowing Derek Riopelle you knew two critical things of this fine gentlemen. And if you didn't know Derek here they are:

1) He loved Harper more then anything in this world. He was the example of what every father strives to be for their kids, a perfect role model. He specifically worked nights so he could spend time with his daughter during the day and also pickup/drop off his daughter to school. Harper was Derek's absolute life and drive.

2) Whether you were a friend or family Derek treated you the same because you were that important to him. Derek tried everything he could every day to help anyone in need. Derek would also check up on people at random times just to make sure they were doing okay. Derek always made sure whether you were friend or family that you were doing good. Derek had the most gentlest soul with the biggest heart to offer.

I'm posting this fundraiser because so many people reached out and wanted to help in some way shape or form. Derek impacted hundreds of lives with his caring presence. He wanted to make sure his family and friends were always taken care of but most importantly he wanted to make sure they were happy.

All funds raised will be going towards Harper since now she has to bury her dad and bestfriend. There's no amount of money in this world that can replace Derek. But now with Harper and her mom Joy on their own now they need help now more then ever.
