Harper Rae Medical Expenses

In June 2019, our niece, Harper, was diagnosed with stage four cancer. She was 21 months old at the time. Over the next few months, she had four rounds of chemo and surgery to remove the remnants of her tumor. It appeared to the doctors that her cancer was gone. It felt like a huge relief.

On January 30, 2020, Harper was rushed to the emergency room where they made a diagnosis of type one diabetes. She has since been on insulin.

On March 13, 2020, Harper had a routine MRI as a follow-up to her cancer. That routine MRI showed a growth and the subsequent biopsy showed that it was a new cancer.

On April 6 she had surgery to remove the tumor and began chemo treatments on April 10. Her treatment will consist of four more rounds of chemo.

My brother, Joey, and sister-in-law, Haven, are both super hard-working people who are blessed with good jobs and insurance. That being said, they have both had to miss a lot work on top of the medicine, travel expenses, and co-pays are beginning to add up.

Harper’s treatment and care comes before anything else, but the medical challenges are starting to take a financial toll. If you would you be willing to help to ensure that their financial needs are met while Harper gets the best medical care possible, it would be greatly appreciated! And most of all, that you would join us in continued prayers.

I will update this page as often as I can with new information.

Thank you for any and all support!
