Hi, I am Shaylee (Avery sister) this is way out of my comfort zone. But once you see someone you love need help it changes. Avery Ladymon and Hailey Smith baby girl, Harper Ladymon, is 7 weeks old. She was brought to Grady Memorial this past Friday with heavy breathing. Dr at that facility said its Bronchitis, so with that he put her on O2 and did the waiting game. Long story short Harper was sent via Ambulance to OU Children's lastnight and had heart surgery this morning at 10am. She was diagnosed with ALCAPA. The surgeon said the surgery was successful, but the true healing will begin these coming days. I ask you to please pray. Pray for healing, pray for no complications in the next week, pray for comfort for Avery and Hailey. Pray. Harper needs us as much as we need her.

Currently Hailey is on maternity leave and Avery is in college full time so they will need all the help we can provide at this stressful time in their lives.

Harper is currently on a echo machine and they are keeping her resting so her body can heal. Surgeon said they will be able to close her chest within a week once they know her heart is healing.
